Which is a better bike? Haro Escape Sport or Specialized Hardrock Comp?
I use it to go to school, into trails, maybe some small jumps.

Well, assuming your talking about having it without upgrades, it really just depends. I’ll break it down part by part
Frame: both about the same, aluminum (A1 on specialized and 7000series on haro)
Fork: Definate win for the Haro
Shifters: Low end Shimano on Specialized, slightly better Sram parts on Haro.
Deraillers: Both about the same, low end junk. (buy Shimano Deore!)
Brakes: Im partial of the Haro’s Hayes brakes. very nice for a lower end hardtail.
you’ll definatly want to replace the pedals one either one with some solid aluminum or steel platform pedals.
Basically, if ya want the one that looks nice, will never be much of a problem and you can get worked on easily, Go with the Specialized.
If you want the Better Bike (better componets, higher performance) get the Haro.
Personally, for that kind of money i’ll go with ebay and get a very sweet fix-me-up!
